Gutter repair.
Sagging, leaking, or pulling away from the fascia? Usually that's a repair, not a full replacement. We'll look at it and tell you straight.
What we fix
Most problems are fixable.
Resealing seams
Corners, end caps and downspout outlets are where sectional and seamless gutter alike eventually weep. Cleaned out and resealed properly, a seam stops leaking — and that is a far smaller job than replacing the run it sits on.
Refastening
Gutter pulling away from the fascia is usually fasteners letting go, not gutter failing. Refastened into sound wood, it goes back where it belongs.
Replacing downspouts
Downspouts take the most abuse — crushed by a ladder, clipped by a mower, split by ice. Replacing one section does not mean touching the gutter above it.
Re-pitching runs
If water stands in the gutter instead of moving to the outlet, the pitch is wrong. Re-hung at the right fall, it drains — and standing water is what rots fascia and breeds mosquitoes.
How we'll handle it
We'll tell you if it's not worth repairing.
Repair first
If the gutter itself is sound, a repair is cheaper and it lasts. There is no reason to sell you a replacement you do not need.
But not always
Gutter that is corroded through, badly deformed, or failing in several places at once is money thrown after bad. When that is the case we will say so plainly rather than patch it twice.
